Scholarship Search: Extra Finds

Piedmont Music Therapy is grateful that we have received volunteer support for grant and funding searches this year. As a result, the Financial Resource Page available here has doubled in length which helps to ensure more families who might not have had financial means to pay for music therapy treatment, may be able to receive some support to offset treatment costs.

A few of the financial aides that were located by a volunteer from PMT, do not fund music therapy treatment, but with so many client families that we work with, we wanted to spotlight those two related resources here:

• American Autism Association assists to fund service dogs. Check out their application here.

• Bringing Up Down Syndrome (BUDS) helps to fund conferences and workshops for family members: https://www.budsonline.org/grants/
