Jim has diverse business and technical expertise in a variety of industries and company sizes. He serves as Vice President and Treasurer of Hook Line and Heroes, a non-profit that provides guided fishing experiences to disabled veterans. He works with the Winthrop Region Small Business Development Center where he provided consulting to PMT during its for-profit status.     

Katie is the Director of Weekday Ministries at St. John's UMC in downtown Rock Hill, S.C. For the past fifteen years, she has served in this role overseeing the preschool and after school care programs. The preschool has benefitted from weekly visits from Piedmont Music Therapy to the class for children with developmental delays for a decade. This therapy has been one of the most impactful activities over the years and is something the staff is grateful to be able to offer to the students.

​Ed currently serves as employment and benefits counsel at Bank of America where he advises internal clients on legal matters relating to employee benefit and compensation programs.  Having attended a few of Piedmont's semi-annual concerts, Ed was drawn to how much the Piedmont experience meant to its students, including one of his children. Ed is also an avid music fan, with interests ranging from classical, rock, R&B and bluegrass.  

Danae provides music therapy services to patients and caregivers at Levine Children's Hospital and has previous experience during her 13 years as a clinician with children and adults having intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing units. Aspiring to promote the availability of board certified music therapy services to the community at large, Danae serves as a credentialed representative of the nationally certified profession.

Joseph Miller is a lifelong musician and craftsman of sound. He works as a music producer, composer for media, sound designer, audio engineer, and provides these services for corporate clients and artist projects. His previous work experience includes adjunct teaching in music, operating a private lesson studio, performing guitarist, and music copyist. He also volunteers as a youth soccer coach, organizes special interest group events and donates time to schools, churches, and other organizations who struggle with audio technology or music related challenges.

Christopher is a highly respected insurance and financial professional, recognized for his leadership, community engagement, and entrepreneurial spirit. He is the founder of Trusted Financial Group, where he helps individuals and families navigate Medicare, life, and health insurance solutions with clarity and confidence. In addition, he serves as a Wholesale Account Executive at Emerson Rogers, supporting brokers in growing their businesses through innovative marketing, training, and enrollment strategies. Beyond his professional roles, Christopher is deeply committed to his community, holding leadership positions in organizations such as NAIFA, BNI, and local civic initiatives.

Dr. Smith is an Assistant Teaching Professor, community educator, public speaker, writer and researcher of the following interests: mental health, loneliness, deviant behavior and criminology.
