Becky Drozdz, MBA, CCp, GRP, SPHR, SHRM-SCP
Becky is the founder of Guerrilla HR LLC, where she helps organizations make smarter, more strategic decisions about compensation and HR. With years of hands-on HR experience, Becky brings a practical—and occasionally unconventional—approach to helping employers attract, reward, and retain great talent.

Jim Funk, MBA
Jim has diverse business and technical expertise in a variety of industries and company sizes. He served for six years as Vice President and Treasurer of Hook Line and Heroes, a non-profit that provides guided fishing experiences to disabled Veterans. He has retired from full-time work but continues to support non-profits and serves clients in his private consulting practice
Chairperson

Ed Kim
Ed currently serves as employment and benefits counsel at Bank of America where he advises internal clients on legal matters relating to employee benefit and compensation programs. Having attended a few of Piedmont's semi-annual concerts, Ed was drawn to how much the Piedmont experience meant to its students, including one of his children. Ed is also an avid music fan, with interests ranging from classical, rock, R&B and bluegrass.

Joe Miller
Joseph Miller is a lifelong musician and craftsman of sound. He works as a music producer, composer for media, sound designer, audio engineer, and provides these services for corporate clients and artist projects. His previous work experience includes adjunct teaching in music, operating a private lesson studio, performing guitarist, and music copyist. He also volunteers as a youth soccer coach, organizes special interest group events and donates time to schools, churches, and other organizations who struggle with audio technology or music related challenges.

Danae Merrick, MT-BC, NICU Music Therapist, NMTTM
Danae provides music therapy services to patients and caregivers at Levine Children's Hospital and has previous experience during her 16 years as a clinician with children and adults having intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing units. Aspiring to promote the availability of board certified music therapy services to the community at large, Danae serves as a credentialed representative of the nationally certified profession.
Secretary

Jim Parmeter
Jim has over 35 years in banking and finance and is currently Director of Capital markets for a large hotel company. He has volunteered in various capacities over the years and as he nears retirement is interested in getting more involved in the community. Jim’s family has some experience with autism and he was drawn to Piedmont, due to their extensive work with people on the spectrum.

How can I sponsor dinners for the volunteer BOD?
Thank you for considering sponsoring dinners for our board of directors meeting! If you would like to provide or sponsor a meal, please reach out via our “contact us” form and indicate what you would like to provide. PMT has a 7-person board and a typical sponsorship would be $100-200 range.
