Strolling Summer Days

 Cheers to summer! We are ecstatic at the return of more in-person summer camps. There are added safety precautions, larger instrument inventory and advanced planning which are worth it to ensure that group based music therapy sessions are a safe  experience in Charlotte, NC. 

Below are the 4 summer camps that we're participating in with 3 of them mobile based:

Camp Holiday - DSAGC

PMT is ecstatic to return to jam with day campers at Camp Holiday through the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte! Rodneya Hall, MT-BC will be the music therapist facilitating groups.

Camp Trusted Parents

PMT began partnering with Camp Trusted Parents in 2018 to support their therapeutic summer camp program. The camp is hosted at Queens University of Charlotte and involves two music therapists in order to provide an age based experience for the children and older teenagers simultaneously. We use two different classrooms for sensory reasons. This summer there will be alternating pairs between Rodneya Hall, MT-BC, Gabby Jones, MT-BC, Miriam Tart, MMT, MT-BC and Ashley Tisdale, MT-BC.

Manus Academy's Camp

It will be exciting to return to the week long camp with students and staff at Manus Academy! We are honored to facilitate a daily music based experience for students - our first adventures at their summer camp were in 2019.
