PMT CLinic Open Houses - 9/8/17 & 9/9/17

We've been busy the last few weeks preparing to open our open clinic space in Charlotte. Please save the date for two open house events in the mornings of Friday, September 8 for professionals & Saturday, September 9 for families and potential clients!

We'll continue to post sneak peeks of the new location through Instagram so be sure to follow us over there. Monday, August 14th will be the first official day of sessions and lessons at our space in Halifax Square, Charlotte, NC.

Just wait until you see how accessible our location is for folks traveling from Charlotte, NC or Rock Hill, SC! Plus our own handicap accessible bathrooms, waiting area and treatment rooms are tremendous.

Welcome Fall

A new season is upon us. . . and yes you may have already noticed this by the changing menus (pumpkin latte or strawberry rhubarb crepes anyone?). Another way the season greets us is by the colorful selection of gourds in retail shops. We already have two pumpkins at our home (maybe next year our garden will yield one)!

Here are a few glimpses of how autumn is welcomed by a music therapist and Piedmont Music Therapy Owner:

The supervision of music therapy students at Queens University of Charlotte has started during the Fall 2015 Semester. My honored load of students pursuing their bachelor of arts degree in music therapy is a delightful challenge. #Royals
imagine released its 5th online music therapy magazine for practitioners, educators, and families this month. Travel plans are being finalized for the American Music Therapy Association Conference in November 2015. Attending music therapy conferences on a bi- or annual basis is rewarding. Taking part in presenting concurrent sessions with colleagues and reuniting with music therapy friends & family is cream cheese icing on the pumpkin sheet cake (I greatly recommend Pioneer Woman's Recipe for that delicious fall desert and it is easy to freeze: ) Anyone else still need to register for the Cadenza 5K at AMTA Conference sponsored by the students of the Mid-Western Region of AMTA?!
