This program is designed for children ages 3-5 years. Their parent/guardian must co-attend the 4 group sessions.
Siblings may attend if supervised by the parents/guardians. They will not count towards the limited spaces, and only one resource set will be given to each family.
Please note in the registration form, the total number of children & adults anticipated which will help us set-up the room/chairs, etc.
Bright Notes, Bright Futures is a 4-week FREE Music Therapy Group for preschool children with a disability, ages 3-5.
The program aims to improve emotional wellbeing intertwined with literacy skills (e.g., children more ready to attend to shared reading, participation, and self-expression). Over time, these outcomes help to prepare children for school readiness, more positive peer relationships, etc. To assist these goals, children will receive "take home" materials related to the curriculum, and printed resources to connect these issues within their family & community.
