VIRTUAL SUMMER CAMP: Musical Chairs Instrument Exploration Middle School Aged Students 8/3/20 - 8/7/20
Youth ages 11 to 14 years are invited to explore musical instruments with Mrs. Gretchen during this week long camp that will be available online for campers to enjoy from home. Each day, they will rotate through the following instruments for basic skills and technique: piano, ukulele, drums, recorder and ukulele.
This will be a fun filled week to explore learning how to play musical instruments from the safety & comfort of your own home. Camper will receive their own recorder to use during camp and keep as a souvenir of the camp week.
A take-home kit of instruments (ukulele, drums & new recorer) & music worksheets will be available for pick-up before the camp week either Friday, July 31 (between 10:30am - Noon) or Saturay, August 1 (between 1:00-2:00pm) and the bundle of instruments (except for the recorder) will need to be returned the following Monday, 8/10/20 (between 11:00am-Noon or 2:00-3:00pm).
A limited amount of keyboards are available for loan of $35 for the camp week.
Daily links to the 60 minute videos will be sent via email with a virtual jam for all student campers to join on Friday, August 7th via Google Hangout at 11:00am.
