Uke Can Do It: Series 1 Enrollment (April 20-24)
Upper elementary school aged children through young adults are invited to enroll in: Uke Can Do It! The introductory course on your sopranoukulele includes 3-30 minute lectures by Ashley TIsdale, MT-BC that you can watch on your own. To conclude the course, virtually join the Gretchen Benner, LMSW, MT-BC and other students for a Song Share on Friday, April 24th.
Episodes will be available to watch April 20-24 with LIVE GROUP SONG SHARE on Friday, April 24: 3:00 - 3:30pm (EST). Google HangOut link will be sent to enrollees to share their skills on the ukulele.
You'll learn several basic chords and strumming patterns, anatomy of the stringed instrument and basic musical elements such as rhythmic notation. A variety of songs will be introduced and students can practice on provided music or use their own song interests. Chord sheets with lyrics will be available for download with this course.
